Triax T-31 Super Trooper Robot Destroyer

MDC by location
Shoulders/Upper arm (2) - 90 each
Forearms (2) - 70 each
Legs (2) - 120 each
Leg Mini-Missile Launchers (2, lower leg) - 30 each
Fusion Launchers (2, above each shoulder) - 50 each
Maneuvering Jets (8, small) - 15 each
*Head  - 75
**Main Body - 250

Speed
Running: 40 mph maximum.  Does tire operator at rate of 10% normal
Leaping: The powerful robot legs can leap up to 12 feet high or lengthwise unassisted by thrusters.  A jet thruster assisted leap propels the unit up to 60 feet high and 100 feet lengthwise.
Flying: Not possible.  Nor high-speed continuous hops like the Terrain Hopper.  Jet thrusters are designed to assist in leaping up onto and down from giant bots, armored vehicles, and to better roll with impact.

Statistical Data
Height: 7-8 feet from head to toe.  Shoulder mounted missile launchers add another foot to overall height, making it 8-9 feet.
Width: Wings 4 feet
Length: 3 feet
Weight: 450 lbs
Physical Strength: Equal to PS 30
Power System: Nuclear, average life is 11 years

Weapons (For more description see pg 42-44 of Triax and the NGR)
F4-Dual Fusion Shoulder Launchers (2): A pair of special mini-missile launchers are mounted on the shoulders of the Super Trooper.  These fire fusion block missiles.  The two launchers can tilt 90 degrees forward/down and backward/up.
Missile Type: Special Short-range fusion missiles, only.  Cannot use conventional mini-missiles.
Damage: 2D6x10 MD; blast area is 10 feet.
Range: 300 Feet
Rate of Fire: 1 or 2
Payload: Total of 4, two per each launcher.
Special Note: These are much more sensitive than standard mini-missiles.  Player must roll a percentile each time the character uses an F4 missile.  A roll of 01-65 means it goes according to plan, 66-85 means the timer is faulty and it explodes 2D6 seconds sooner or later than intended (GM discretion).  86-00 means it's a dud (see pg 43 for description of what's done with duds).
MAE-3 Hand Charges (also known as Maysies)
Located in the chest of the Super Trooper are a pair of round disks, these are also explosives.  A third, larger disk is located in the belly of the armor.  These are explosives used for damaging and penetrating enemy armor.  (See book for more description)
Type: Hand-placed charge (can be thrown with penalties-- see book)
Damage: 1D6x10 MD, blast area of 5 feet for small disks.  2D4x10, blast area of 10 feet for large disk.
Range: T-31 Super Trooper can toss an MAE-3 disk approximately 1D4x10 +30 yards (max of 210 feet), but has no bonuses to strike (natural rolls only).  Not designed to be thrown as a frisbee in this manner.
Rate of Fire: 1 per melee action
Payload: 3 total: 2 small, 1 large.
Leg-Mini missile launchers: A small mini-missile launcher, holding 7 mini-missiles is mounted on the calf of each leg.
Missile Type: Any mini-missile can be used, but armor piercing (1D4x10 MD) or plasma (1D6x10 MD) is standard.
Damage: Varies with missile type
Rate of Fire: One at a time, or volleys of 2, 3, or 4.
Payload: 14 total; 7 each leg. (Currently: 1 smoke, 8 plasma, 5 Armor piercing-- bonus against large armored things)
RVB-31 Vibro-blade: A standard vibro-blade short sword is concealed in the housing in the right arm.  The blade is used to cut or stab through thin armor and to sever cords and hoses.  Its inclusion in the T-31's armaments has helped to contribute to the armor's nickname of "The Can-Opener".
Damage: 2D4 MD
Range: Hand to hand
LGL-31 Grapnel & Launcher: On the left arm is a housing that looks identical to the RVB-31, but is really a launcher that fires a grappling hook and line.  The grappling hook is used to scale non-metallic surfaces or as an alternate means to secure oneself to giant bots and vehicles.
Damage: None
Range: 100 feet of lightweight cord (retractable)
PL-31 Palm Laser Torch: Located at the base of the palm and wrist of each hand is a very short range, but very high-intensity laser torch.
Damage: 3D6 MD per single blast, 6D6 per double blast from both hands combined.  Blast area is 10 feet.
Range: 1 foot
Rate of Fire: Number of HtH attacks of pilot + power armor bonuses.
Payload: effectively unlimited.
Energy rifles, Light Rail Guns: Can handle and carry man-sized weapons. (Note that this one is currently equipped with a TX-42 laser rifle-- see below)

Special Note
1. T-31 has full optical systems, including laser targeting, telescopic, passive nightvision, thermo-imaging, infrared, ultraviolet, and polarization.  Also has other common PA features.  Bonus: +2 strike to use of all weapon systems except MAE-3.
2. Feet and toes have the same molecular adhesion system the MAE-3 uses.
3. Distress Homing beacon (see book)

TX-42 Laser Rifle

Standard energy assault weapon used by human troops of NGR military.  Also a variable frequency laser weapon with 12 settings, which can be changed by touch or voice command.  Number 7 counters USA-10 Glitter Boy.
Weight: 9lbs
Damage: 2D6 MD per single shot, 1D4 x 10 MD per rapid-fire pulse (3 nearly simultaneous shots).
Rate of Fire: Equal to user's HtH attacks
Max Range: 2000 ft
Payload: 40 shots with FSE clip

Mirja looks in surprise at the DB. She hadn't thought there would be any use to him.
"Mainly jobs that pay well. Why you know of any?"

Sasha and Max

The D-Bee lowers the rifle as he sees Max start to back away, but is still holding it in a position that it wouldn't take long to get it back up to where he could shoot.  At the same time, he looks confused and glances at his friend, who leans over and whispers something in his ear.

"So you guys are the ones that were here yesterday?" he lowers his gun a little more, looking less nervous.  "Look-- sorry about the less than hospitable treatment, but we've had some bad run-ins with outsiders-- especially humans-- recently, so we're more than a little edgy."

Turning halfway around, he raises a hand, giving a signal, and turns back.  You start to see a few people poking their heads out windows and doors, and even a few coming out a little way into the street, watching you with wary, but curious eyes.

"Anyway, you said you ran into some of those things last night." He looks Max up and down.  "You don't look like you're hurt or anything-- what happened?  Did you kill them or did they get away?"  As he speaks, he occasionally glances down the road behind you, or up at the mountains around the city, obviously keeping an eye out.  It's fairly apparent these people haven't felt safe for some time.

Sasha

You are able to hear that what the friend has whispered is a brief explanation that you appear to be the same people that came through the day before.

Max looked at the rifle intently as fear raced through him. He wasn't afraid of the gun pointed at him, he actually couldn't think of a time a gun had scared him. What scared him is that in a situation this intense he's transform if he saw a sudden movement and horrifically murder and scar the people in the area he had chosen to protect. Max raised both his hands (not above his head but in a sort of "calm down" motion) and started to back away so a transformation wouldn't kill anyone. "Listen Guys I just wanted to be sure everyone was okay, we ran into a few last night and we wanted to be sure there weren't any more running around, okay, if you don't want me here I'll just leave, okay?" Max's voice was steady and confident, he just wanted to avoid making the confrontation any bigger.

Hearing the name 'Heinrich' again, Sasha narrows her eyes in thought. The name sounded more than familiar...was it not the same group that the first village they visited complained about? Hm. Tucking away that bit of information, she kept listening and smiled gently when she saw someone peek out a window at her.

With a town this nervous about attack or assault, it would be in everyone's best interest to keep herself neutral and calm. As far as the townspeople could tell, Sasha was completely unarmed. Sure, she was leaning against the car which had a gun on it...but she didn't even have a holstered gun on her. She doubted it would make her any friends, but at least they wouldn't see as much reason to point a rifle at her -- like they were with Max.

She spared him a glance and frowned a little. Perhaps it would be best to just leave, especially if the D-Bees felt it necessary to point weaponry at them during a simple conversation. If things got any worse, well, she'd just have to step in and get Max to get back in the car and leave.
